Mitchell is an actor based in New York City. Originally from San Francisco, California, he moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah, where he graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Creatively, Mitchell has performed throughout the Bay Area and Utah in shows such as West Side Story, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Next to Normal, and many others. He also appeared in a staged reading for a new musical, with its eyes set for Broadway, titled Alice in Neverland, playing a multitude of different characters. He has also performed with the Utah Symphony as a Guest Artist in The Magical Music of Harry Potter as part of their Films to Concert series. In the Fall of 2024, Mitchell made his 54 Below debut in The Spooky Spectacular concert singing from musical favorites such as Into the Woods and Heathers the Musical.
Outside of acting, Mitchell likes to take on a number of other hobbies and interests, one of them being photography. After receiving his first camera at 17 years old, he quickly fell in love with the art of photography. Fast forward to his first year of college, Mitchell noticed the need for headshots among his peers. It was then that he decided to start learning about the art of headshot photography and putting those skills to use. Since then, he has built a dynamic headshot portfolio and continues his work in New York City.
